1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and PolicyEase 保單易 Team ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the PolicyEase 保單易 iOS application ("App").

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your personal iOS device for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may:

• Use the App on devices you own or control
• Create, save, and analyze insurance policy data (up to 2 policies)
• Compare insurance policies side-by-side

You may NOT:

• Share, resell, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices

3. Purchase and Payment

• Price: HK$8 (or equivalent in your currency)
• One-Time Purchase: No subscriptions or recurring fees
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store
• Refunds: Subject to Apple's refund policy, not ours
• All Features Unlocked: You get full access to all app features upon purchase

4. App Features and Limitations

4.1 Maximum 2 Policies

The iOS app allows you to save a maximum of 2 insurance policies. This is a fundamental limitation of this version. For unlimited policies, please use our Web Pro version.

4.2 Local Storage Only

All data is stored locally on your device. We do not provide cloud backup or cross-device synchronization for the iOS app.

4.3 No Account Required

The App does not require registration or account creation.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no guarantees that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• IRR calculations are 100% accurate for your specific situation
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be compatible with future iOS versions

6. Financial Disclaimer

• IRR calculations are estimates based on the data you provide
• Actual returns may differ significantly from calculated projections
• Non-guaranteed returns are not guaranteed and may not materialize
• You should consult with qualified financial advisors before making investment decisions
• We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on App calculations

7. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for:

• Entering accurate policy information
• Verifying calculations with your insurance provider
• Understanding your insurance policy terms and conditions
• Consulting professionals for important financial decisions

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Financial losses resulting from using or relying on the App
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid for the App (HK$8)

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Web Version Promotion

The App includes promotional content for our Web Pro version, including:

• Discount code: IOS16OFF (HK$16 off)
• Links to wealth-pulse-hk.vercel.app

The Web Pro version is a separate product with its own terms and pricing. This iOS app purchase does not include the Web Pro version.

11. Updates and Modifications

We may:

• Release updates to fix bugs or add features
• Modify or discontinue features
• Update these Terms at any time

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Discontinue the App at any time
• Refuse service to anyone for any reason

You may terminate by deleting the App from your device.

13. iOS and Apple Requirements

This App is subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In case of conflict, Apple's EULA takes precedence.

Apple is not responsible for:

• The App or its content
• Maintenance or support
• Product warranty claims
• Any claims related to the App

14. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App belong to PolicyEase 保單易 Team, including:

• Source code and algorithms
• Design and user interface
• Name, logo, and branding
• Documentation

15. Data and Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how we handle data. Key points:

• We do NOT collect your personal data
• All data stays on your device
• No cloud backup or synchronization

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiations
2. Mediation in Hong Kong
3. Arbitration in Hong Kong (if mediation fails)

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
